I haven't been doing much in the way of crafting lately. Our grandsons are taking so much of our time right now. They are little for such a short time and I don't want to miss a moment of playing with them.
I am also redoing my ARThaven! OMG! This is so much fun! We went to IKEA and I picked out the cabinets, cubbies, table and whatnots to get started next week. Hope to make it to Lowe's this afternoon to choose a paint color. Tending towards taupe for the walls with white trim. Everything else will be white. I'll add color with accessories later. Not so much fun is trying to remove everything from the room so the walls can be painted and units assembled and installed. It is crammed packed to the rafters with crafting supplies. The room is small and won't be as elegant as I would like but it will be organized, clean and fresh. Plan on weeding out a lot of stuff I don't use, famous last words, right? I'm sure this will be a work in progress for the next several months.
Right now it is an exciting time for all SU demonstrators. The sneak peek of the new catalog items were posted on May 1st. The five new In Colors are bright and fresh, new designs of DSP and of course, the stamp sets. All the improvements and new items coming in the new catalog are exciting and updated "BUT" on the downside, there are a lot of our favorites that are retiring forever. It is sad to see so many products being taken away. We are moving in the right direction and will soon have new favorites. June 1st, our friends and customers can join in our excitement!
