As promised I took a few photographs of my newly finished ARThaven. It is so much brighter and more organized than ever before.
I painted the walls a light taupe with white woodwork. All the storage units are in white.
Along one wall I have units with three drawers each. I have all my dies, stamp sets, paper and odds and ends here. The tall cabinet in the corner holds misc tools and supplies. This will be where I do all the die cutting.
Timothy will be putting in bucket lightening above this work table and track lightening over the crafting table in the center of the room in the near future. The closet doors will be covered with cork for extra pin up space.
The wall unit holds my Cricut machine, cartridges, paper stacks and SU catalogs. Very close with easy access. The black storage bins hold crafting supplies of every description.
The table in the center allows at least two extra people to share the space and possibly three. It will be tight but manageable.
Under the window, I have my eye on a narrow table with several shelves. This will hold both printers with extra storage underneath. I plan to get a white wooden blind for the window but right now I am enjoying all the natural light coming in. I have a good view of the backyard also.
Tom added three shelves in a nook just inside the room to house all my scrapbook albums. They were hidden away in the closet before and almost impossible to get at. Now they are handy if needed. There is room for extra shelves if the need arises.
I hope you enjoyed your tour of my ARThaven. Maybe someday you can come play. The door is always open. Until next time, stay safe and happy crafting.
