Monday, Monday

Well, here it is another Monday morning and I just finished reading my mail and checking on a few things computer related.  I hope to get caught up on my cleaning today and maybe do a load or two of laundry.  The ladies are coming tomorrow to do the cards from the class I attended yesterday.  They are going to love the cards, so easy and  fast to do.  Great designs also.  Elizabeth and Jenn do an awesome card class.  I'm still checking on flights to Pennsylvania, prices still awfully high.  Tom seems to think after Labor Day the rates will go down.  I just hate to wait so long, might need to reset my departure date for a day later.  Mother is getting anxious for me to come.  We are planning a little side trip to visit one of her friends in Ohio and I'm sure she wants to get that scheduled.   Too early for the beautiful colors of fall but temps should be much lower than what we are experiencing here in Texas.  Have a super Monday......

Card class today....

Cece, Ashley and I went to a card class with Jenn and Elizabeth this morning.  The cards were fast and easy to make, full of detail and beautiful.  These ladies do awesome work.  Cece won a door prize for just being there, do you think she was excited?  It was a fun Saturday.

Bridge.....

Our monthly Bridge group met this evening at Sarah's.  We always spend more time playing catch up than actually playing Bridge.  It was a fun evening and Sarah served the most wonderful chocolate cake, yum!

August OTT Card Swap

As promised, here are the cards from the card swap last evening at Fuzzy's Pizza.  Everyone did an awesome job on their cards.  We keep getting better and better!  Enjoy.....

August Card Swap

The card swap this month was held at Fuzzy's Pizza.  We had dinner while catching up with each other before doing the swap.  The swap cards were amazing.  Cece joined us for the first time and she did a beautiful butterfly card.  We plan on doing a recipe swap a long with the card swap for the next three months.  When finished we will have a recipe book with favorites from everyone in the group.  I will post photos of the cards tomorrow.  Bed time for me right now.  Good nite everyone!

Monday morning.....

Once again I am holed up in my craft/computer room reorganizing.  It seems I just a can't leave well enough alone and need to be changing things.  I know it always seems to snowball and then the room is a total disaster, but I do it anyway.  You would think I would catch on.  Afterwards I can never remember where I put stuff and then I waste valuable time looking instead of creating.  They say with age comes wisdom, does anyone know what that age might be?  Back to the mess!  Have a super day, my friends.......

Card class

These are the five cards we made this afternoon at my card class.  We used SU everything.  Three of the cards were made using the Vintage Vogue stamp set and two were made with the My Friend stamp set.  Jane, Sharon and I had such a nice stressfree afternoon chatting, laughing and of course, making cards.  I hope you enjoy!
