Busy February

This has been a busy month  here in my ARThaven.  I have been making cards that a friend has offered to sell at her work place.   The Easter cards were a project from my favorite craft site, Craft Project Central.  Love

just about every project they put on their website.   The cards folder holding four cards is also one of their projects.
The Mother's Day card is a CASE from Pinterest.  Love the simplicity of this card.  So easy!

The brown folder holds four cards, all birthday with the word Celebrate.  This is also a CASE set.
The note card set is made from scraps of pattern paper left over from all the other project.  Enjoy!

Challenge 300

I don't often do challenges but this morning the mood was just right.  I used the sketch by Mary Jo Price-Williams, over at technostamper.com and created this card.  I used a Coastal Cabana base, added a doily, embossed the center card stock with the Cloud embossing folder.  This was layered onto a corrugated piece and the Friend with banners added using the Banner Blast stamp set from SAB.  The colors are Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Cherry Cobbler.  Truly a five minute card.  Enjoy!

Allie's Valentine Box

My eight year old granddaugher, Allison, made this cute Valentine Box a few minutes ago using the latest pattern from Craft Project Central.  The box will hold the eighteen to twenty small Valentines from her classmates.
The box measures 5 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" deep and 4 3/4" in height.  She used hot pink and black card stock and loaded on the stickers.   The lid is held closed using a pretty ribbon.  Pretty box, beautiful girl!

Valentine Treat Cups with Card...

 We made these adorable treat
holders using 4 ounce coffee cups with lids at our Valentine class this past Friday.  These are just the samples but in class we used the Designer Series Paper Stack using the Raspberry Ripple and Primerose Petals.
We used black card stock for the carrier and the card base.  It made a really cute Valentine set for your sweetie.  The cups hold a lot of chocolates.  The class was fun and the project was fast and easy.  Enjoy!

Wetlands Stamp Set

I made these beautiful cards this afternoon using a tutorial I got from Mary Jo Price-Williams.  The cloud embossing folder adds texture to the cards and a marker was used to add the tiny black lines around some of the image pieces.  This was a new technique to me but one I will be using from here on out.  Love it!  This was such a fun project and really easy.  Thanks Mary Jo for sharing your talent with me.  You can see more of Mary Jo's work on her website, www.technostamper.com.

North Polar Express....

This is the train I made last week using the svg file from Svgcuts.com.  The file was cut on my cutting machine using craft paper as the base then adding Christmas paper from Graphic 45 (left overs from a previous project). Fun, fun project!

Remove the lids  for a place to add small gifts or treats.

Advent Calendar

This is our darling grandson, Jeffrey.  Yes, he is always smiling and having fun, this is his main goal in life.  Jeffrey is such a fun little person to hang out with.  He keeps us well entertained.  He is holding the Advent Calendar I made for James.  I am in the process of making one just for Jeffrey as well.

I made this Advent Calendar using an svg file from Svgcuts.com.   I used a Christmas paper stack from DCWV and The Paper Studio.
This was such a fun project and relatively easy to make.   Enjoy!
