Friday, January 2oth

I will be leaving here within the hour to go to San Antonio for the SU Regionals.  My first time so just a wee bit excited.  Getting to see some of the friends I met at convention last year and hopefully meet some new friends as well.  We are just going over night so should be home late tomorrow.

I am working on the Castle Album by Laura Denison and have the towers almost completed.  Will be posting as I go with this project since it is very detailed.  I am liking the way it is going so will get some photos up next week.

Until next time, everyone have a great weekend.

Scrapbook Pop-up pages....

I just recently took a class on pop-up scrapbook pages.  We did a double page layout using the Sizzix pop-up dies designed by Karen Burniston (she also taught this class).  It is absolutely amazing how using a pop-up die can make an okay scrapbook page into a WOW! page.  The paper we used is by Imaginations and is much prettier than these pictures show.  I will be making pop-up pages for all of my albums.  Enjoy!

I'm back.....

It's been hectic around here since the holidays but I think everything is back to normal.  Since my last post, I've been doing several projects by Laura Denison on Following The Paper Trail.  Her New Year's Eve Bash was such fun and I ended up ordering the kit, so this will be my next big project from her.  I did her Envelope Album and the Left Over Recipe book.  The recipe book was fun but complicated, it was frustrating on several of the steps, I threw it in the trash once after I pitched a royal hissy fit.  Of course, a few of my friends won't ever let me live this down.  It was eventually finished and I am posting it here.  Hope you like it as much I do.  Your comments would be appreciated.  Until later......
