Inspired by Pinterest

I attended another class over at Scrappn'Savvy in Spring last evening with a few friends.  The class was a photo box Inspired by Pinterest and given by Terri Burnett.  The box can be used to display your photographs or just hold them until you are ready to use them on a scrapbook page.

We used  paper by Authentique.  The box was primed and sanded, the panels were cut and inked then applied to the sides of the box with liquid glue.  The legs were added last.

There are four dividers in the box to separate the photographs.  Both sides of divider is covered with paper and inked.  Flower embellishments added to front to add interest.

The top of the box wasn't wasted as we made a small shadow box decor item.  The back is lined with patterned paper and decorated with a banner, umbrella and flower embellishments.  A punched bird is added to the top and a small removable card held in place by the flowers.  A great piece to announce the coming of Spring.

Terri's projects are always so fun, what an awesome instructor.

Button Farm leftovers......

This 5"x7" chipboard album was made from the paper leftovers from a Button Farm kit that my friend was making at our Scraptabulous Crop.  The album has ten pages plus front and back cover.

I added my own card stock and cover embellishments.  I inked all the edges using distress ink and using the leftover stickers and chipboard embellishments that came with the kit, decorated the pages.   I also added several smaller card stock pages to journal on.   I used the Bind It All to hold it all together.  Fun project!

Vintage Telephone

The Vintage Telephone with album is a pattern by Laura Denison, from Following the Paper Trail.  I started this a very long time ago and it was the second project I finally  finished this past weekend.

I used misc Graphic 45 papers on the telephone and Steampunk by Graphic 45 for the album.  This is a pocket album and holds tags for photos.

Dream Album

Several of my friends got together on Saturday to have an all day scrapping event.  Marie was so gracious to open her craft room and her home to us.  She even made a delicious veggie soup to share.  Yum!

The Dream Album was a class I took at S&S several months ago but never finished.  It was the first project I finished on Saturday.

This 6"x6" mini album was designed and taught by Terri Burnett.  Terri does such awesome projects.  This album will be one of my go-to projects when I need a quick gift.  It would be great as an event album and would look good using any paper line.

Enjoy!
